Privacy Policy

Color Splash FX is an Android app published by Potato Powered Games Ltd. It has no accounts, no sign-up and no login. Your photos are edited on your phone and are never uploaded to us. The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob, and that is the only part of it that sends data off your device.

• Photos you pick or take are edited entirely on your device. We have no servers that receive them.
• Subject detection uses Google's on-device ML Kit model, delivered through Google Play services. The photo is analysed on the phone and is not sent to Google or to us.
• The app uses Android's photo picker, so it only sees the photos you choose and has no access to the rest of your library.
• Taking a photo opens your phone's camera app. The app itself has no camera permission.
• Your projects are stored in the app's private storage so you can come back to them. Finished photos are saved to Pictures/Color Splash FX in your gallery.

The app shows banner and full-screen ads served by Google AdMob. To choose and show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK collects:

• your device's advertising ID
• your IP address and approximate location derived from it
• device and app information, such as model, operating system version and language
• how you interact with ads, such as views and taps

This data goes to Google, not to us. Google's use of it is covered by How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ads are requested. You can choose personalised ads, limited ads or decline, and ads will only be shown to the extent your choice allows.

• You can reset your advertising ID, or delete it, in Android Settings › Privacy › Ads.
• You can change your consent choice from the app, where it is offered.
• Uninstalling the app deletes your projects. Photos you saved to the gallery stay there.

• We don't collect your name, email address or contacts.
• We don't upload, look at, or keep your photos.
• We don't use analytics of our own, and we don't sell data to anyone.

The app isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be called out in the app.
